Town of Beausejour Centennial Plans

beausejourtowncouncilsThe Town of Beausejour was incorporated on April 6, 1912, and the Centennial Committee is planning events to be hosted throughout the year of 2012, with the main celebration or homecoming weekend being tentatively scheduled for August 4, 5 & 6 of 2012. The slogan we have adopted uses our brand, Our Home-Your Home, Come Home in 2012. Beausejour was incorporated as a village from the RM of Brokenhead on November 5, 1908.

Water Tower

watertowercroppedLocated in the center of town, it’s often the first thing you can make out when you approach Beausejour on the highway.  It was once painted silver, which was really easy to see from a distance, from the sun reflect off of it.  It was later painted as a hot air balloon, and then in the green and yellow you see pictured here.
