The Town of Beausejour was incorporated on April 6, 1912, and the Centennial Committee is planning events to be hosted throughout the year of 2012, with the main celebration or homecoming weekend being tentatively scheduled for August 4, 5 & 6 of 2012. The slogan we have adopted uses our brand, Our Home-Your Home, Come Home in 2012. Beausejour was incorporated as a village from the RM of Brokenhead on November 5, 1908.

This is a scene of Ashton Avenue in 1925 during the fair of that year.  Where’s the roller coaster?

Once numbering in the thousands, the grain elevator was the hub of every rural community. This one is gone now, but it’s sister is still standing tall just to the left of this picture.

Serving Beausejour and the surrounding area, you can’t go a whole day without something interesting happening at the Sun Gro Centre.  It’s home to curling and hockey facilties, a fitness centre, conference rooms and so much more.

Located in the center of town, it’s often the first thing you can make out when you approach Beausejour on the highway.  It was once painted silver, which was really easy to see from a distance, from the sun reflect off of it.  It was later painted as a hot air balloon, and then in the green and yellow you see pictured here.
