The Town of Beausejour is situated 46km North East of Winnipeg on PTH #44. The town is in the forefront of commercial and industrial expansion in Eastern Manitoba and is also the gateway to the Whiteshell - some of Manitoba’s best vacation lands. The community is proud of the fact that a state of the art racetrack is located in their community, bringing motocross and snowmobile racing to Eastern Manitoba. The Canadian Power Toboggan Championships and Double B Rodeo are events that take place in the town. Beausejour’s recreational opportunities are unlimited and include an ice arena, 6- sheet curling rink, swimming pool, nature and ski trails, golf course plus a recreational hall. A new 30 bed hospital with an attached Primary Care Centre and two medical clinics provide the health care as required. One personal care home, five senior residences plus the Burgoyne Station +55 are available to serve the region’s seniors.
Beausejour is a town with a well-developed infrastructure that supports business and encourages growth. The town is the central grain-handling facility for the region.
