We have planted a row of hybrid Poplar trees along the south side of the road leading into the Town of Beausejour’s Compost site on the northwest corner of town. Thanks to community volunteers Sean Michaels for ploughing and tilling the ground for the trees and to Martha Palluq and Ken Neustater for planting the trees. We are grateful to the Trees for Tomorrow program for providing the trees at no cost.

If the Town of Beausejour proceeds with plans to create a Waste Transfer Station at the site, we hope to be actively involved in landscaping the site at no cost to the Town.
